Cyclists of the Month: Meet Our Local Riders

Let’s celebrate local heroes on two wheels!
Every month, we highlight awesome people in our community who love biking. These riders inspire us with their energy, passion, and big smiles.

Linda Jackson (Our Champion Coach)

“Coaching and riding keep me in love with the sport.”

Fun fact: Linda won bronze at the 1996 Road World Championships and raced at the 1996 Olympics

Derek Gee (Our Racing Pro)

“I ride because I love pushing myself to be better every day.”

Derek grew up in Ottawa and started riding with a local club. Now he’s a pro racer in Europe! He’s known for going fast, never giving up, and riding with heart.

Fun Fact: Derek got a special award in the Giro d’Italia for being one of the bravest riders.

Local Bike Groups & Events
